Construction:
Stitch and glue, 8 mm plywood; the bottom coated witch epoxy/fiberglass. Spars, gunwales, florboards - wooden. Inner ballast (led pigs - 64 kg) recommended for sailing.
Fast and light rowing - sailing boat, with traditional look, easy to operate, but tender. Lug rig is extremally easy to make and effective.
2 pairs of oars or lug sail are main propoulsion. As a sailboat is recommended for experienced sailors.
Salmo 15 can be fitted with additional outrigger (one side float) which makes the boat very stable and safe.
