
Canoe outrigger (or outrigger canoe) and proa are traditional boats from Pacyfic area. They have 1 main hull ("waka" lub "vaka") and 1 float ("ama" or "outrigger"), joined usually with 2 rods ("aka" lub "iako").
Outrigger canoes and proas are being built in many kinds and sizes now.
They are very light, fast, and seaworhy.

Similiar boat from Indonesia is called "bangka", and "paraw" is from Philipines.
